Food and drink are the main elements we need in life to sustain our bodies; eating the right foods help us to become healthy and happy simultaneously, however if not consumed in the right way, food and drink can have the opposite effect. Your body becomes weak and unhealthy and your energy levels dip in and out, in extreme cases an unhealthy diet can lead to life altering illnesses.
Food shouldn't be used an an emotional crutch or coping mechanism, we shouldn't feel guilty for what we eat or restrict ourselves from eating. Food is fuel for our bodies and eating should be a happy and enjoyable experience.
The 321 Effect isn’t just about being healthy and eating green food (although we do love a bit of kale) it’s a way of finding that balance of feeling healthy and being happy, so if you want a glass of wine, a slice of cake or a cheeky Nando's, have one, or have them all if you really want to, but not for the wrong reasons. Not because we want to punish ourselves, or because we think it will make us feel better. Often when we are trying to lose weight we set ourselves unrealistic targets and then when we "slip up" we feel guilty and end up feeling like we have completely lost control.

We want to put a stop to any unhealthy cycles and behaviours, that's why there are no "slip ups." There is no on plan, off plan, all or nothing mentality. No guilt, no shame, no punishing yourself, no restricting, no yo-yoing. Just a healthy and happy way of eating.
We can help you to eat more mindfully and truly enjoy every single bite; however it's not just about eating well, we want you to look after yourself, do the things you love, make time for yourself and make a difference in the world. Learning to love our bodies is not always easy but it is possible, being kind to yourself is the biggest gift that you are able to give and it can completely change your perception of your body and your life. You do not need to achieve a certain weight or look a certain way to be happy, you can learn to look after yourself and even begin to love yourself regardless of where you are on your journey.
The older you become the more grateful you and your body will be for looking after yourself, and not just the food you eat but for your mindfulness towards life, if you can incorporate the wellbeing side of The 321 Effect into your life then your mind and body will love you even more. You're going to be living in and be a part of your body until the day comes that you float out of it and look down and think "what a lovely looking healthy corpse! I’m glad I looked after myself as in return my body served me well. I lived my life to the fullest now I can rest in peace."

Taking time to do the things you love, appreciating everything you have, living in the moment, practising Yoga or meditating will allow you to become a lot more centred in your day to day life. Even better than that, each moment of your life! When you are in the moment you are exactly where you should be living, as this is the only place you ever truly are and this is how you will find happiness.
